Unit 5 – Talk Things Over

This unit explores how at times we all feel worried and the importance of dealing with worries. Through a variety of approaches and activities the children are encouraged to share and talk about what they might be worried about.

The key messages shared are:

1. At times we all feel worried                                                                                                            2. Sometimes if worries are not dealt with they can get out of control                                      3. If you are struggling, it is important to ask for help

Please see below for the wonderful worry monsters, check in emotion charts and emotion fans the children made and shared at our sharing assemblies. Some children  wrote down their worries on paper, then stamped on them and scrunched them and crushed them in the bin.
