Dear Parents/Carers,
Assembly
P3 – P7 had a joint assembly today. We shared our achievements and explored facts about Ramadan.
Achievements
- Several Bruntsfield Primary pupils took part in a Scotland wide competition to design a new mascot – or “Mathscot” – for Maths Week Scotland. Well done to Martha from P7B, who was a Second Level finalist, and to Chloe from P5B, whose entry was highly commended. All winners, finalists and highly commended entries will be featured in an online showcase next week, so keep an eye on twitter.com/mathsweekscot and see if you can spot Martha’s and Chloe’s entries.”
- Well done to David, Kody, Lefteris and Matthew in P6 who scored a very respectable 56 out of 60 in the Euro Quiz today. Some very challenging questions indeed!
- Well done to Erinn and the rest of P6B who spent the day with the Malinn Group in Glasgow after winning their competition for best 3D design.
