Every year, P7 have the opportunity to attend a week long residential camp at Lagganlia near Aviemore. This year (2026) a record breaking number of pupils are attending across 2 weeks – 104 pupils. Below is information shared at our Parent Camp Meeting.

Lagganlia 2026

This was our largest camp ever, 104 P7 pupils attending. A massive planning task for Mrs McLachlan and team who take it on from Ingrid Ramsay who was the beating heart of Bruntsfield’s Lagganlia trips for many years. This year looked slightly different too. Alongside Lagganlia instructors, we made the decision to have an Adventure Activities focus where children have the opportunity to try out lots of outdoor challenges but also experience and 1 overnight camping. Although the first week weren’t able to experience the camping due to weather issues, week 2 enjoyed this adventure greatly and it was a great success. Check out the photo’s to Lagganlia 2026 here.
