Assemblies are on Friday mornings at 9.00-9.30am for P1-4 and P5-7. The school will come together once a month for whole school Assemblies. In addition, we celebrate at Barclay Church for our Harvest, Christmas and Easter Celebrations. Mr Sam Torrens our School Chaplain also joins our Assemblies in school throughout the year.
We have special Gatherings for Other World religions, Scots Language and Culture Week, World Book Day, Comic Relief, Children in Need and other occasions as they arise on Mondays from 2.55-3.15pm.
Achievements in school and outside school are celebrated at weekly assemblies, certificates are awarded for our Bruntsfield ‘Stars of the Week’ and class of the week. Each month our Citizenship Cup is awarded to the House who earns the most tokens. Community Teams, with a combination of pupils from P1 to P7 in their school houses, are held on a Friday from 9.30 -10.20am each term.
