Grangemouth Road Relays 2017

The children went  to this event which was held in Grangemouth Stadium on the 28th Oct 2017. The course, which is approx one mile in length, is flat tarmac/asphalt/grass and each pupil has to run a complete lap of the course. There are three people in a team and take over is by touch. The children have all been practising hard with Mrs Ramsay out at the links for these races as the children were up against runners from all over Scotland. However, We did exceptionally well and Mrs Ramsay is very proud of all her teams that competed.

Our results were :

P6 girls – A team –  5th place out of 31 teams – B team – 22nd place out of 31 teams

P6 boys – A team – 8th place out of 33 teams – B team – 21st place out of 33 teams

P7 girls – A team – 5th place out of 33 teams –  B team – 20th place out of 33 teams

P7 boys – A team – 15th place out of 35 teams –  B team –  18th place out of 35 teams.
