Dear Parents and Carers,
Hallowe’en fun
Every class (excluding P6 at skiing lessons), had a fun time at our Hallowe’en dances. We played games and danced for nearly an hour! The children looked magnificent in their costumes and had an amazing morning. Thanks to the Parent Council for providing funds for a treat for every child and prizes for games. Photos can be found on our X Page @BPSlearners
Outdoor learning
Next week our pupils will be celebrating Global Outdoor Classroom Day. The teachers will be posting photos on our X (formerly Twitter) page of the activities.
Industrial Action
You may have read in the media that one of the main unions for support staff plan to strike on Wednesday 8th November 2023. We are not sure if this will definitely go ahead, but if it is confirmed nearer the time, I will be in touch with the information you need as a family.

Uniform
Lost property was not in the front playground this morning as scheduled. Apologies for this. Lost property will be displayed next Friday, weather dependent.
Lunch boxes and bottles
We have had lots of drinking bottles and packed lunch boxes go missing, or unclaimed recently. Please ensure your child’s name is on everything they bring in. Permanent marker works well on these items.
Kind regards,
Stephen Gilhooley
