Day 2: P6 Lagganlia Camp

Today’s adventures began with a breakfast of cereal, toast and quorn or black pudding rolls. Alas, no sunshine but no rain either. Hooray! Excited chatter filled the the tables; catching up with friends, finding out how we slept … and did you have a midnight feast?

After room inspection (and hiding of sweetie wrappers) it was quickly into our groups to find out what we needed for the day. Soon we were all armed with waterproofs, boots and some very fetching teddy bear suits we were ready to set off for the morning …with activities of gorge walking, hill climb, archery and canoeing.

The teams all showed great team work, enthusiasm and many challenged themselves. Not a single complaint. Very impressive indeed.

Some of the many comments from the children included…

“This is the life”, ” This brings out your inner daredevil”, “That was amazing”, “It’s freezing…but brilliant”, “I’m starving “, ” I can’t believe I did that”, “What a day…”, “I could live here.”

Now we are anticipating our hot dinner…then games and fun…

What will tomorrow bring?

PS Midges…zero.
