We talked about Ramadan and what it means for some of our families. We talked about the values and how they tie into our own school values. (e.g. kindness). We also celebrated achievements and discovered our class of the week.
Next week the focus is on all things Eco. The children have been asked to bring in anything they have been doing to address the climate emergency.
What’s been going on?
This week P7A enjoyed an excellent music workshop with Edinburgh College students. Together, they were creating their own improvisations to jazz. Everyone really enjoyed the experience!
Free school meals for Primary 6 and 7 Pupils
If you do not meet the conditions for school grants but you receive the Scottish Child Payment and have a child in Primary 6 or 7 you can apply for free school meals. You will not be eligible for school holiday payments, free milk or a school clothing grant.

City of Edinburgh Easter Football Camp
Prices for 2025 remain at £70 per week or £35 for those entitled to Free School Uniform Grants or Free School Meal Grants (not the automatic free school meals for the younger ones). Payment must be made at point of booking; please select the appropriate rate at checkout. The camp will run Monday 7th – Friday 11th April.
As ever, places are limited and tend to be in high demand so act fast to avoid disappointment.
