Assembly

The children have been learning about global celebrations in December including Hannukah and Christmas.  We had our talented musicians sharing their musical skills with us also.

Achievements

We have another school winner of a Christmas Card competition!  This time it is for a MSP and the winner is Mathilde B from P5a.  She is invited to an awards ceremony in the Scottish Parliament.  Well done to Mathilde and all who participated!

Bruntsfield Netball

The P6 and P7 After School Netball Team participated in their first Edinburgh Netball tournament on Monday morning.  They competed really well and enjoyed playing on the large courts at New Meadowbank.  Thanks to our parents who assisted with transport and supported the team.

Friday morning Parent drop in

We enjoyed having a coffee and a chat with our School Nurse this morning.  Our next two sessions before the Winter Holidays are:

Elf Post

Our P6 Elves will begin delivering all our Christmas Cards next week. We will have a free Elf Post service! Children can post their greeting cards in our Elf Post Box near our School Office. Deliveries will begin next week!

Parent helpers needed!

We are desperately needing parents to walk the children to and from the cinema.  If you do have the time, please contact your child’s class teacher.

Christmas Tree Donation

Many thanks to the Christmas tree sales team at McLarens who donated the school a tree at no charge!  The school is looking more festive and ready for our shows and parties.

Winter Fair

Looking forward to seeing you at the Winter Fair on Friday night starting at 5.30pm.  We have lots of fun things planned, so come along and join us!
