We are thrilled to announce the winners of the recent artwork competition. This competition was organized by The City of Edinburgh Council and JCDecaux, a bus shelter advertising company. Pupils from Edinburgh schools were invited to create designs. These designs will be showcased along Princes Street, Edinburgh as digital posters in bus shelters.
We received an incredible number of submissions, showcasing remarkable talent and creativity making the selection process challenging for our judges.
After much deliberation, our judging panel has selected the following 12 winners. The top three winners will attend an exclusive preview on the morning of Thursday 28 November. This will take place at one of the bus shelters on Princes Street. They will have the opportunity to meet the Lord Provost. This event will be followed by a reception at the City Chambers. We will contact schools separately.
In conjunction with this competition, we also ran a Seasons Greetings card competition. These designs will be transformed into e-cards for our elected members to share with their contacts, residents, family and friends.
Congratulations to all the winners! Their exceptional artwork will be displayed for four days from 28 November to 1 December. This event will bring festive cheer to people out and about in Edinburgh. We extend our heartfelt thank you to all the schools and pupils who participated.
