The border around the climbing frame, to hold the pea gravel in place has been installed this week. This is will save hours of shovelling and keep it where it is needed!
Parents suggested it would be helpful if teachers shared their class timetable. These are on the ‘class’ section of our website.
Bruntsfield fencers won the Best School and Best Club Fencing Trophies, once again. Well done indeed children and coaches! If you are interested in fencing, please join the fencing after school club. Detailed results are posted on our website.

Lachlan (P5) and Jemma (P7) have been selected as a finalists in this year’s Green Pencil Award for their poems, ‘Edinburgh’s Natural Experiences’ and ‘340 Million Years Ago’, respectively. Copies of their poems will be shared on our website.
The One Show Children in Need Rickshaw Challenge is coming to Edinburgh Castle on Thursday 16th November 2017 at 7pm. City of Edinburgh invite all children and families along to cheer them on. Boroughmuir High School Christmas Carol Concert, is on Monday 11 December at 7pm. City of Edinburgh Instrumental Music Service annual Fanfare Concert is on Friday 24 November. Both are in the Central Hall, 2 West Tollcross. Tickets are available from http:www.thequeensall.net/about/the-box-office.

The Parent Council Winter Fair is on Friday 24 November. This year it is in the Stage Hall as well as the Dining Hall, to give us all a little more space. It is a great evening, do come along and join the fun.
