Thank You, Mrs Ramsay
For everything you have done for our school (and this website!).
P7D have put together the following page to say thank you.
Mrs. Ramsay, a teacher who has spent 30 years in Bruntsfield primary school, has put all her effort into the the pupils learning. She has helped with all skills of our curriculum; and has celebrated achievements of everyone. (Tilly)
Ingrid Ramsay from Bruntsfield Primary has been working for 30 years to make the school as fun as possible. Sadly though, she will be leaving us after the holidays to go on retirement. (Jack)
Ramsay’s Role
Mrs Ramsay started off as a parent helper doing jobs in the, playground, dining room, library and in the resource room. Now she helps with much more and brings fun and excitement to this school. (Ralphie)
Mrs Ramsay is the school legend for doing the jobs of 10 people, she’s in charge of the library, does ICT and many more things. A couple times a day she takes the runners to the links sometimes competitions. (Zubair)
In 1998 she formed the running club, an amazing new addition to the school. Pupils would race to see who the fastest runners were, and they would join the club. Here are some other things she brought to the school. She really enhanced the camp experience for the P7s, she brought skiing to the school in 2003 and in the end always made the pupils happy. (Brodie)
Mrs Ramsay’s Legacy
Mrs Ramsay will leave us with many legacy’s. She brought in the expedition to the Lagganlia camp, she brought skiing in 2003, she brought running club in1998. She lead the junior duke and made the project boxes. She brought the books numbers up in the library. (Josh)
