Bruntsfield School has made it through to the final stage of the Schools Air Race Challenge 25/26 with some of our P6 and P7 groups. We engaged in some paper plane design and flying challenges very successfully.
We’ll now be receiving three drones from the organisers (in collaboration with SSERC) to take on the next sets of challenges, like moving pencils from one point to another. These tasks will run over the coming months.
We’ll be competing for bronze, silver or gold – and if we win gold, the pupils will enjoy a special day out at a nearby airfield, with simulator flights and even real flights in light aircraft!
We will keep you posted!!
