End of Term Celebration

Christmas Singalong: Bruntsfield Style

On our last  morning of the term our Assembly began with classes entering to ‘Frosty the Snowman’ . Our first performance was by our P5 and P6 violinists, and what a treat that was, the best playing we have heard yet. Thank you.

Then Mr Munoz played the guitar, with some children on sleigh bells to accompany us for the next few songs… how fantastic to have the guitar to singalong to.

The school choir with Miss Anderson and Miss Faichney singing, with actions, a beautiful rendition of ‘What Christmas Means to Me’. This was followed by P7 singing a very meaningful Band Aid’s ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas’. We then sang our own version of The Twelve days of Christmas, which was made up by the children about their teachers.

Then, it was the last performance, all the Bruntsfield Staff sang ‘So Here it is Merry Christmas’. I think this was the children’s favourite performance.

We ended with a rousing whole school performance of …’Let it Go’ (from frozen)… and we did!

What a fabulous morning!
