Dear Parents/Carers,
Unbelievably, the October Break is upon us already! It has been a great start to Session 22-23 and long may it continue!
Homework
We have a home work strategy at Bruntsfield as we believe this is an opportunity for our young people to practice and consolidate skills and knowledge with their family. Homework will continue to be shared on Teams in line with our sustainability agenda. However, we appreciate families, for whatever reason, may not be able to access the learning online. If this is the case, and you would like a paper version, please contact the main office by e-mail or in person.
Parking
This will remain an ongoing issue but it seems to be improving – thanks to the co-operation of all our families, community and partners. We have had a few incidents with residents. We want to continue our good relationship with them, whilst maintaining safety in the streets. Please don’t approach and confront drivers as, unfortunately, these conversations can break down. I’ll endeavour to be out and about with our colleagues from the police and roads and maintain the safety of our environment. If you do see anything dangerous or unsafe, please let me know.

If you are a follower of Twitter, please do follow our school! You can find us @BPSlearners.

Mid Term Holiday
School will close for pupils on Friday 14th and return at the usual times on Wednesday 26th October. Have a fabulous break!
Kind regards,
Stephen Gilhooley
