Head Teacher’s Blog 29/03/18

Dear Parents and Carers,

  • The playground activities are now painted on the tarmac at the front of the school and look great. If you haven’t had a chance to see them, please pop in and have a look. The Pupil Council have chosen well!
  • The Council are reviewing school the City’s crossing guides. If you would like to contribute to the review, please do so before Tuesday 24 April 2018 at https://consultationhub.edinburgh.gov.uk/sfc/school-crossing-patrol-review-parents-and-carers. Councillors will use our feedback when deciding if any changes should be made to the service. If you have any questions, please contact roadsafety@edinburgh.gov.uk
  • The Bruntsfield Swim Team took part in the Primary School Swimming Gala on Wednesday and came third in the Freestyle A Final. Well done to all for the excellent sportsmanship on the day.
  • As in previous years, the Edinburgh Evening News take P7 photos and will do this after the holidays. Dates will be confirmed with P7 Parents and Carers. The photos will be published on 23 and 24 May 2018.
  • Sports Day is on Wednesday 23 May (weather permitting).

Have a great Easter Holiday and I look forward to working with you when School opens on Tuesday 17 April.

Kind regards,

Carol Kyle
