Head Teacher’s Blog 11/01/2018

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back everyone and Happy New Year to you all!

  • At Monday’s Inservice Day we worked in partnership with Cluster colleagues on maths and literacy. We designed holistic assessments using the Curriculum for Excellence Benchmarks and moderated samples of pupils’ writing to ensure consistency of standard across our three schools. A very productive day was had by all.
  • Parent, pupil and teacher consultations are on Tuesday 30 January and Thursday 01 February from 4-7pm. Letters are on their way to you. We appreciate the effort everyone makes to ensure the appointments run on time.
  • A TV Company who produce Lego Masters Tuesday’s Child are looking for anyone over the age of 9 (on 31st March 2018) who loves to build! Individuals or teams are welcome to apply. If you are interested, further information is available from Hale@TuesdaysChild.tv Tel: 020 3761 4710 / 07791 070 526
  • We have been very impressed with the healthy snacks the children have brought in this week. This complements the Building Resilience lessons planned on ’Get Active’ which was launched at our Assembly on Wednesday.

If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.

Kind regards,

Carol Kyle
