Day 3: P6 Lagganlia Camp

And the rain poured down. But this did not dampen our morning spirits as we munched a hearty breakfast of cereal, toast and bacon rolls. Then it was off to be waterproofed for our adventures for the day.

This included; Mountain biking for Cameron’s team, with two on a tandem. After a quick training session… down hill stops and up hill gear changes…we were off…heading into the rain and midges. We rose to the challenges of muddy puddles and rocky inclines. Not a single moan was heard just squeals of delight (or that could have been the brakes).

“Best fun ever”, “Loved this”, “I’m soaked and I don’t care” and “Ten out of ten”

And…Orienteering with Brig’s team, where great map reading skills and team work were demonstrated.

There were also teams participating in abseiling, skiing, tree jumping and archery.

At lunchtime in between changes from wet clothes to dry clothes we met for excited exchanges amidst ….”Have you seen my lunch?”, “I’m starving”, “That was amazing”.

Just about to head in for dinner (after hot showers) and we’re looking forward to Capoera later.

Our last night tonight…how quickly it has gone.

Our bags are packed …with soggy muddy clothes..(oops) …but… we’re not ready to go.
